ADDERLink® XDIP is a trusted KVM-over-IP solution used across control rooms, broadcast environments, and high-performance technical spaces, where reliable access to multiple machines and systems is critical. With the new ADDERLink® XDIP Extension for SP Grid, operators can now manage XDIP receivers directly inside Grid Studio, enabling clean switching workflows and status visibility as part of a wider experience control environment.

Grid allows the switching of the KVM to be linked with other events on the AVLM system. The integration is intentionally lightweight and deployment-friendly. XDIP units (firmware v1.05+) can be connected by simply assigning the receiver IP address in Grid Studio, with optional password support where configured. Once enabled, Grid unlocks fast operator actions including channel discovery, current connection status, and device switching, making XDIP control accessible through the same low-code logic, triggers, and UI framework used across the rest of the SP Grid ecosystem.

To make this even easier for real-world operations, the Extension includes a predefined workflow that continuously checks connection state, refreshes available channels, and automatically handles authorisation when required. It also ships with a prebuilt widget, allowing teams to drag-and-drop XDIP controls directly onto a Grid board, creating a clean, user-friendly control surface in seconds. The result is faster switching, fewer operator steps, and tighter control visibility, all inside the SP Grid platform.
