With the new Analog Way Alta Extension for SP Grid, Alta can now be brought directly into Grid Studio, allowing systems engineers and operators to control switching, presets, screen layers and routing as part of a unified AVLM experience workflow.
Setup is fast and production-friendly: enter the Alta IP address and verify the REST API port settings, then enable the REST API directly inside the Alta Web Interface. Where authentication is enabled, Grid Studio supports matching credentials for secure deployment. Once connected, the Extension unlocks deep control across system functions, screens, auxiliary outputs, and multi-viewers, including recalling presets, selecting sources, managing live/background/foreground layers, and executing clean transitions using TAKE commands and single or global switching actions.
Beyond video control, the integration also expands into audio routing and monitoring, including screen audio mode control, aux audio, line-out, and Dante audio management.
