Brompton Technology’s Tessera processing has become a high standard for LED control, trusted across the world’s highest-profile live shows, touring productions, XR stages and premium installations. With the new Brompton Tessera Extension for SP Grid, Tessera can now be brought directly into the Grid ecosystem, allowing teams to control, automate and monitor LED processing parameters alongside the rest of the AVLM environment, from one central platform in Grid Studio.
This Extension makes setup simple: define the controller IP address, enable API access within Tessera Remote, and unlock direct control of key functionality through Grid actions. From brightness and gamma to colour temperature, gains, output settings and group-based adjustments, users can now integrate Tessera parameters into broader automation logic, creating responsive workflows where LED processing isn’t isolated, but connected to the full experience control layer.
Built for real production requirements, the integration supports advanced operational tools such as presets, test patterns, blackout/freeze overrides, genlock configuration, and failover control, alongside system-level actions such as reboot and shutdown where permissions allow. A predefined workflow keeps the system healthy with automated connection checks and periodic refresh of presets, inputs, and groups, ensuring Grid Studio stays synced with what’s happening in the processor in real time. This is LED processing control designed for modern, data-driven, intelligent AVLM control and virtual production environments.
