Megapixel Helios has rapidly become one of the most powerful platforms in modern LED processing, engineered for demanding environments across XR stages, broadcast studios, touring productions, and permanent installations. With the new Megapixel Helios Extension for SP Grid, Helios can now be connected directly into Grid Studio, allowing teams to control critical display parameters, monitor processor health, and automate LED workflows as part of a unified experience control platform.
This Extension enables handling of large arrays of LED Processors and fast deployment through simple Grid Studio configuration: define the Helios IP address, and apply username/password authentication when enabled within the Helios Web Interface. Once connected, the integration unlocks deep operational control across the LED system, including brightness, gamma, gains, blackout/freeze, colour temperature, latency settings, redundancy, masks, output adjustments, test patterns, still store control, and full preset loading. Instead of LED processing living in a separate silo, Helios becomes a controllable and monitorable node inside the wider AVLM environment.
Beyond control, the integration brings Helios into the world of event-driven automation. With built-in processor events such as alert notifications and parameter-change triggers, Grid can respond in real time when the system reports issues or when settings change, whether via the device, the web UI, or automation logic. Combined with predefined workflows that maintain connectivity checks and keep presets/inputs/groups/images refreshed, this Extension gives teams a stable, production-ready foundation for smarter LED operations as part of a wider AVLM control system.
